It’s Valentine’s Day!

Those of you lovers out there who are celebrating this day, I’m sure you have something planned for you loved ones be it a special dinner, treat, gifts etc. For me, I’m celebrating it alone unfortunately. Yes it’s sad. Sigh. Oh well, gotta move on but it won’t stop me from celebrating it with the one I love the most.. myself. Haha.

Cupcake Order

Couple of days ago I had a cupcake order. It was meant for kids. However, the [bleep] couldn’t pick it up, wouldn’t text me back, and just went quiet. If you’re not gonna pick up, at least let me know. I don’t know why some people could’t so inconsiderate and dishonest. I spent a whole day preparing and trying to get everything perfect (well I tried!). Rushed here and there. I screwed up one batch and had to throw them away. I actually spent hundreds for this just so that I don’t ruin my reputation. It was an extremely tiring day. What did I get in return? Nothing. Not even a call. Thank you, dear customer. May karma have mercy on you.

However, I do want to show some pictures!

It was chocolate cupcakes with chocolate & vanilla buttercream frosting and vanilla cupcakes with strawberry & vanilla buttercream frosting.

I decided to experiement with duo tone/2 tone frosting color and it was a success!

I gave the angry bird edible image for free… what a waste.

Hi and welcome to My Cupcake World!

This is officially the very first post of this new blog. My name is Tany and I just LOVE cupcakes. Cupcakes to me is more than just a sweet, fattening (haha) treat but it’s an art. Being an art student in college, I love anything that involves art and creativity. I find that, since I love cupcakes so much, I can experiment with the decoration just like an art project.

In this blog, I’ll post some recipes, pictures, useful tips and tutorials and more, but not just limiting to cupcakes.
